In a world increasingly shaped by technological advancements, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a potent force, sparking both excitement and concern. From mimicking human intellect to potentially surpassing human capabilities across various domains, AI raises many questions. It’s well-known that AI significantly influences our lives, but the overreliance on these tools could pose significant threats. While tech enthusiasts continue to innovate and experiment with AI, the vulnerabilities and ethical dilemmas surrounding it are becoming more pressing. The questions of privacy, accountability, and ethical use of AI systems need urgent resolution, with clear roles for each stakeholder. This paper engages those curious about AI’s future and its implications, particularly concerning democracy. It explores the broad scope of AI and delves into issues related to human rights and privacy, drawing insights from experts.
